The Geography of the Republic of Belarus

Belarus hasn’t got any access to the sea. But Belarus is surrounded by 5 countries: Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine.

The Republic of Belarus is made up of 6 regions: Minsk, Brest, Grodno’s, Gomel, Mogilev and Vitebskones.

The population of Belarus is about 10 million people. 

The biggest city is Minsk (the capital) with 2 million people living there.

Belarus is rich in lakes, rivers and forests. 

The most famous lake is the Naroch. It’s a lake that has a really big number of stories. 

Belovezhskaya Puscha is famous for its size and lots of rare animals.
